Into The Woods Blue Limited Edition Lino Print

Into the Woods Blue limited edition lino print is an immersion into winter woodland and hedgerows. Rich in narrative and metaphor, forests are the lungs for our planet, and in a way the lungs for our soul, and wellbeing. I gain a deep sense of place by revisiting the same locations to draw and paint from direct observation, exploring the colours and fauna as they change with the seasons and time of day.  Back in my studio I create detailed botanical studies of the plants I’ve collected.  Gradually I develop the compositions and colours for my prints, often layering the minutia of nature within larger landscapes.

This limited edition print has a mono-printed background, this means each one will be slightly, uniquely different to the print pictured, it measures 42 by 21 cm.
